Doggy Daycare Facts & Info
Vaccinations
We require written proof of Rabies, DHLPP (or equivalent) and Bordatella vaccinations. Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old with 2 sets of DHLPP and Bordatella completed. If campers are not current, they must have all required vaccinations at least ONE WEEK PRIOR to attending Doggy Daycare at Huskyden Kennels. Please bring shot records to your interview or fax ahead to 705-387-0591.
Making Reservations
Reservations are not required for all day camp and overnight stays. But they are required for training appointments. They are easy to make, just contact us by phone, fax or email. However, we highly recommend scheduling early to reserve your "Spot", particularly for overnight stays. Ask about our discounted daycare packages and also about our "re-occurring" Daycare schedule to assure your reservation!
Cancellation Policy
Daycare and training appointments require 24 hour notice prior to your scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointments that are skipped or cancelled without proper notice will be billed at the regular rate. This way we can still offer our service to Drop-Ins if we know that you are not going to make it. You never know when you might need to use our Drop –In service, so calling 24 hrs ahead of time to cancel is appreciated.
Eats and Treats
We proudly serve Inukshuk ProSeries as our recommended diet. If your dog is on a special or restricted diet, we can easily accommodate raw food diets, homemade diets and other special preparations. Please bring your dog's special food pre-packaged in a sealed container, labeled with their name and feeding instructions if you do not want us to feed your dogs our food. We provide treats at no extra cost.
Medications
We can easily administer simple medications while your pet is staying with us. Please bring in the prescribed medication, clearly labeled with your dog's name and written instructions. We are unable to administer formal veterinary treatments such as shots and will not accept a dog that is being treated for any transmittable diseases.
What to Wear
Each dog should wear a properly fitted, flat or martingale collar. No metal or constriction collars such as pinch or choke collars are allowed.
What to Bring
We provide the run, bedding to snuggle in, full food and water bowls, pool and plenty of toys to chew and chase. We've got everything necessary for sheer canine bliss! Just remember your dog, a flat collar and any special medications or meals.

Levels 1 - Puppy Obedience
Instructor: Tenasha Willis Ongoing – Saturday 9am "Camp Levels 1" is geared for young puppies 10 to 16 weeks of age and their human families. Our classes concentrate on curbing "puppy problems" such as house training, chewing and mouthing while also teaching basic commands such as "sit", "down" and "stay". This class includes plenty of socialization time with people, objects and of course, other playful puppies!
Levels 2 - Basic Obedience
Instructor: Tenasha Willis Ongoing – Saturday 10:15am This class is geared for adolescent and adult dogs over 4 months of age, and starts off teaching the basic commands such as sit, down, wait, come and leave it. It also emphasizes the importance of relationship, consistency and the teaching "good manners" such as not jumping up and walking nicely on leash. A great starter class or review for dogs 16 weeks to 16 years of age!
Levels 3 - Intermediate Obedience
Instructor: Tenasha Willis Ongoing – Saturday 11:15am This class uses specific training exercises and practice time to strengthen the commands learned in Level 2. Intermediate Level focuses on making commands reliable, even in the "real world" and around distractions. Perfect for graduates of Level 2 or comparable basic obedience class.
